This is the HK-JA high speed hand dryer in a semi-recessed brushed (satin) stainless steel unit.  The unit protrudes no further than 2-1/2” from a wall to maintain Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance.  HK-JA (SR) semi-recessed ADA hand dryer is suitable for construction projects, limited space and users who desire a complete stainless appearance & touchless experience.  As the user places hands under the unit (without ever touching any surface), the infra-red sensors detects the hands.  The JK-JA(SR) motor speed  is adjustable; meaning it can be set to any speed between fastest to slowest. Sound decreases as speed is reduced & dry time increased. The heating element is also adjustable.  With these two variables, the owner can customize the air flow, dry time, sound volume, and energy consumption to fit any application environment. Functionally, HK-JA (SR) hand dryer is very powerful and durable. The brush-type, dual-ball-bearing motor is capable of producing warm air speeds as high as 225 miles per hour, drying hands in 10 to 15 seconds.  But the actual length of the run cycle is determined by the user. Because the motor and heating element are activated by an infrared optical sensor (self-adjusting), and as soon as the user's hands are removed from under the unit, the drying cycle is terminated. Set to the highest speed (18,000 RPM), a sound level of 80 to 81 dB is generated by the deflection of the high-speed air flow off the user’s hands (but the variable speed motor can be dialed down to the where the sound best suits the owner's preference & installation environment).  The HK-JA(SR) is equipped with our patented blue LED indicator light to optimize drying efficiency.  Because it's recessed, the HK-JA(SR) requires a framed, rough opening of 9-1/4" Wide x 19-31/64" High x 4-27/32" Deep (235 mm x 495 mm x 123 mm).  Overall dimensions are 9-27/32" Wide x 20-13/64" High x 7-3/64" Deep (250 mm x 513 mm x 179 mm) and weighs 25.6 lbs (unpacked).
