Mitsubishi® Jet Towel™ SLIM Model JT-SB116JH2-S-NA (110V/120V) Hand Dryer with Silver ABS Resin Cover
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The Mitsubishi Jet Towel JT-SB116JH2-S-NA (introduced in 2017 as the 9th generation Jet Towel) is designed to be a high-speed drying, low-noise, energy-saving marvel...now even quieter than the previous generation. The high impact ABS resin panels that create the exterior surfaces of this attractive, user-friendly unit are similar to modern color-molded car bumpers. The metallic-silver colored front panel (slightly darker than the previous JT-SB116JH-G-NA model) compliments today’s popular stainless & chrome fixtures, while the top, sides, & hand-drying area are gray. The hand drying trough, drain hose & drain tank are treated with an antibacterial agent and are formed from a special alcohol-resistant resin, allowing for worry-free application of alcohol-based cleaning solutions. The hand drying trough has open sides, and a front insertion angle of 15°. Both ergonomically correct design features allow for the user to stand comfortably and naturally while touchlessly inserting hands. The “Drying Zone” was enlarged by 1.4 times with the 8th generation model. A lower front panel (compared to the 7th generation Jet Towel) and a “child sensor” make this model appropriate for even small children who aren’t tall enough to reach deep inside. An integrated filter scrubs the intake air before the "fine-film" jet of air ever reaches your hands. The Jet Towel has both air-speed and heater setting switches. With these two variables, the owner can customize the air flow, dry time, sound volume, and energy consumption to fit any application environment. The powerful and energy efficient brushless motor can be set to High Speed (when drying time is the priority) or Standard Speed (when quieter but fast operation is desired). In the High Speed mode, the motor can produce an air velocity of 20,680 lfm or 235 mph and an air volume of 110 cubic feet per minute. Standard Speed mode reduces velocity to 18,920 lfm or 215 mph and an air volume of 100 cubic feet per minute . The Jet Towel solves the problem of interference sound between two air currents that plague the competition, producing a sound level of only 59 dB in High Speed mode (56 dB in Low Speed); down from 61 dB and 58 dB in the previous generation. the drop in sound is accomplished through Mitsubishi's innovative wave-shaped nozzles and advanced fluid-control technology. And unlike similar hand dryers that blow water onto the wall and floor, the Jet Towel catches the water from your hands and holds it in a concealed drain tank (1.7 pint capacity). The heating element can be switched to “OFF” by the owner to optimize energy efficiency. But when set to "ON", the user feels warm jet-air of approx. 95°F. Dry time is an amazing 9 to 13 seconds, but the actual length of the run cycle is determined by the user. The Jet Towel uses a unique top & bottom infrared optical sensor system. As soon as the user's hands are fully inserted and reach the bottom sensor, the motor and heating element (if “On”) are activated. As the user withdrawals his hands and clears the top sensor, the drying cycle is terminated. And when properly installed, this dryer complies with the highest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Mounting instructions and warranty information are included.
