ASI HEATING ELEMENT (Part# 10-A0409) for Model 10-0197 TURBO-Dri (Regardless of Voltage), Automatic, High-Speed, Surface-Mounted Hand Dryer

*PLEASE NOTE: This Heater Assembly / Heating Element (Part# 10-A0409) applies only to the current generation of model 0197 with the multi-port nozzle (regardless of voltage or cover material).  Please see the image below.

*** If your TURBO-Dri has instead the single-port nozzle (see picture below) and is 110V/120V, you have the previous generation of 10-0197-1.  Please see the separate listing for Heater Assembly (Part# 10-A0126).

*** Finally, if your TURBO-Dri has the single-port nozzle (as shown above above) but is the high-voltage version (208V-240V), please see the separate listing for Heater Assembly (Part# 10-A0127).

 This Nichrome (NiCr) wire Heating Element (Part# A0409) is rated for 110V/120V, 50/60Hz, 700W, and 20.6 Ohms.  When connected to higher voltage (208V or 220V/240V), the electrical input is reduced by Circuit Board Module (Part# 10-A0142-0129) prior to reaching Heating Assembly.

You could buy an entirely new unit to replace your AMERICAN SPECIALTIES 0197 hand dryer (part of the TURBO-Dri Series) in any of three different cover choices and two available voltages.  But with the correct replacement parts, you can keep your hand dryer in working condition at a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire unit.
